The BullRest Partners with Brookstone!

Hello Backers! Us again ;)   

We have been itching to get this great news out to you all, and we just couldn’t keep it to ourselves any longer. No, we're not kidding... we have signed on with Brookstone to help produce and distribute the BullRest in several key markets. For our international backers who are not familiar with Brookstone, they are a household name here in the U.S. They are a retailer with over 200 retail and airport stores, who have a habit of creating and launching innovative products and brands for over 50 years. From Tempur-Pedic® memory foam mattresses to FitBit® activity trackers, Brookstone has a proven record of introducing exciting new products to the world. We are honored that they have chosen the BullRest to be next in line.  

We are super pumped to partner with them for many reasons. Their retail acumen, penchant for premium products and airport presence were key criteria for us. But perhaps an even bigger benefit is the ability for us to work together with their production and manufacturing team. It goes without saying that their team of product engineers comprises some of the best talent in the world, thus we are extremely confident that they will help ensure the BullRest is far better than even we had imagined. 

With Brookstone, we truly do have the best partner we could have dreamed of, so we hope you share a little of our excitement!  We have to run. Neck deep in planning with Brookstone over here! BullRest @ The International Travel Goods Show

Hello Backers!

It's been about a month since our last update and we wanted to provide a quick news report. Please note that we will provide updates more frequently as we get closer to our ship date and we have exciting manufacturing updates to share. If you don't hear from us, just know that it's only because we are working tirelessly to make the BullRest an amazing product.

Now, let's get the big stuff out of the way:

Still on schedule!

That's right, we are still on track to deliver your BullRest in June. We still cannot narrow it down to an exact date, but are working to do so as soon as we figure out a couple of other items. As your project captains here, we will be sure to let you know if we encounter any turbulence, but hoping for clear skies ahead. 

Here's an update on our progress.

Product engineering phase. We are working with some of the best talent in the world, helping us to continue to refine, tweak, nip, tuck our original design to ensure it is not only comfortable as hell, but also a great fit for everyone. One result of our efforts is a smaller form. Yes, we are able to make it even smaller than originally advertised. It may seem weird, but in doing so actually allows it to fit better on BOTH smaller and bigger necks. I know, weird, right? 

We continue to conduct ergonomic tests to ensure it is a great fit for all. The bulk of our time has been devoted to making this happen.

Manufacturing is next. Where the rubber meets the road as they say. We have all our ducks in a row and ready to go as soon as the final design is complete which should be very soon. So stay tuned for more on this front. 

BullRest is a hit!

One of the reasons we haven't been able to post an update recently is that we were extremely busy preparing for the International Travel Goods Show held last week in Las Vegas. The show gave us an amazing opportunity to showcase the BullRest alongside industry giants like Samsonite, Victorinox and Delsey as well as gain feedback and interest from the worlds largest retail buyers. We were the buzz of the show, and met a ton of great people, who expressed interest in carrying the BullRest. Our goal is to launch it in as many countries worldwide as possible, as soon as possible. The TGS was a big step towards making this happen.

This was our first trade show ever, and for a couple of newbies, we think our booth space came out looking pretty sweet (if we must say so ourselves!). Check it out:

Hello BullRest Backers!

We are hoping all of you are working your way through the 'Monday after the Super Bowl' blues! Glenn is certainly feeling your pain as he's a huge Broncos fan (a hangover never felt so good though!). Sorry to any Carolina fans out there, but I have no doubt you guys will be back (with Kelvin Benjamin set to return, I'm not sure who's gonna beat you guys next year). 

Ok, now on to business. We've received messages from several of you asking if you can still take advantage of the Kickstarter deal to pre-order additional BullRests, and we are happy to announce that the BullRest is now available on Indiegogo's InDemand program. We are offering the same discounted deals on all pre-orders thru Indiegogo.

Indiegogo recently launched the InDemand program to offer crowdfunded projects a way to continue receiving pre-orders up until the official launch in June, and we are very excited to be a part of it. 

The additional funds raised will continue to go towards manufacturing costs, as well as additional marketing activities to promote our launch. 

Now, a very quick update on timing... we are still on schedule! :) :) Seriously guys, everything is currently going according to plan and we aim to keep it that way!

Again, more information and details to come as we progress through production. We hope to have some very exciting news to share in the next couple of weeks. So stay tuned!

Well, we did it! 2,001 backers, over 300% funded and finishing as the 7th most popular project on KickStarter... and it's all because of you. We are seriously pumped, and if you don't believe us, check out this video! (Don't worry, this will be the last of the videos!). 

Seriously, thank you all so much. As we mentioned yesterday, we are already kicking off the next phase of development. We are going to try so hard to beat our deadline, because we want to get you your BullRests as soon as possible. But we will also make certain that it is perfect before we ship them out.

HI Everyone!

Amazing news: we hit our $100K stretch goal! We have already updated our page showing the pouch and carabiner as unlocked. Each BullRest will now come with it's very own carrying pouch.

Thank you to all of you for helping to make this happen!

On to other business. We need your help. As you know, we are offering four unique colors  options for the BullRest, and today we want to know what your favorite is. We've listed the colors below, if you can quickly add a comment (to this update please!) with your favorite(s), it will really help us get a jump on the quantities of each color we will need to produce. We're also just really curious to see what the general consensus is on the options.
